thejunipertreeWatching Jay Leno right now, something that I don't always do. But, the Wee Ninja was just here and we were watching the news and I left the television on after she left.
He's doing some sort of strange ask-the-people-on-the-street-very-simple-questions. And it is highly distressing to see what people say in response to them.
What countries make up Great Britain?
And some doofus replied, "England, Europe, and Spain."
What was Moby Dick?
A guy who killed a whale?
pffffft. Ignoramus.
What country do Welsh people come from?
England.

I can not BELIEVE the stupidity of the common person on the street. Another girl was asked what countries are on either side of the United States and SHE HAD NO CLUE. But, she knew who Mary Kate and Ashley were!
It's disgusting. Pure and simple. I can't understand how these people survive in day to day with being so completely dim-headed. Now Howie Mandell is on the screen. And I'm about to launch my water bottle at the tv.
