I'm really so very exhausted right now that I probably shouldn't be typing. I went to see the new Matrix movie with the Engineer and Miss Robin.

Highlight of the evening, heard in the row behind us during a preview for Extraordinary League of Gentlemen: He's Scottish. They talk funny. They don't talk right. They speak Scotch.

Pure comedy.

The other highlight of the evening was me spotting a stuffed bat in the grab-em claw machine at the diner we went to afterwards. Not only did I spot the damned thing, but I squeed quarters out of everyone and WON it. Pulled that little darlin' to my ever waiting arms, I tell you. And it only took three drops of the claw thing, plus a frantic shaking of the joystick when it picked up something else by mistake.

I OWN.

If I hadn't gotten the bat, I would have gone for the lobster.

Tomorrow night, errr...tonight (as in Saturday) is Stellastarr* playing at the North Star in Philly. I! Am! So! Excited!

I haven't seen Commander Jurin since Ghoulie's wedding. I squee in anticipation!

I heard about your little foray from Miss Robin -I love that preview but alas we had people making fun of it too -namely everyone trying out his or her best imitation of him saying "naughty" -which NO ONE can say it like him...nevertheless it looks like a great flick -the comic its based off of was too. And I have to confess that I am a bit jealous you won a stuffed bat -number one I can't seem to find one I like (short of kitty toys) and number two I can't win shit out of those machines. Oh well -my time will come -did you like the Matrix though?

I am thee Queen of stuffed bats. I must have about fifteen
of the little suckers. Upon seeing this one and freaking over it,

Well I am not saying oiled up bodies don't have appeal for me...but it was a lot of jungle fever...the nipples were amusing -and the fact that it was interspersed with Trinity and Neo's love scene was amusing too -there is something about plugs on a guy -but it makes me wonder -does the "matrix" make sex better? I mean -can you manipulate stuff like.....nevermind. Somethings are better left up the imagination!!!

I enjoyed it very much, and the track that went with it. ("Zion", by Fluke.) Someone else compared it to the "Spice Orgy" from Dune. I can neither confirm nor deny, since I do not remember that far back.

HAHA -I remember that scene!!! And the music was good, no denying that -what made me laugh was the Dave Matthews song at the end -I whispered really loud -"Hey that's Dave Matthews" and people were like no way -and then his voice hit that note that he hits and they realized it -it was a good song though -I really liked the music for this one a lot. I have to say the Trinity/Neo scene was well done...god I sound like a geek!!!

When I was a kid I wanted a stuffed lobster. It's sad, really. All things with an exoskeleton should come in stuffed form...horseshoe crabs, brine shrimp, centipedes...just to make up for the fact that the original just aren't very cuddly.
Stellastarr*(I keep looking for the footnote when I see their name..I'll get used to it someday). Great show.
