I AM SO FUCKING PISSED OFF!!!!

I just received what SHOULD have been my first unemployment check. However, there's no check in it. There's nothing in it. Apparently, I'm not getting a check? I've no fucking idea what this means. It also says that I was supposed to call for my NEXT check TODAY. How the hell is that supposed to happen when I get my mail after five o'clock? WHAT THE FUCK?!?

In addition to all of this, the paper that came with it says under 'claim remaining balance' 0. That's right. Fucking ZERO DOLLARS. How the HELL can it be zero when I haven't even received ANY fucking money yet?

I'm so fucked.

My loan payment is coming up. My payment to the vet is fucking late. And my AOL payment just bounced today, so I owe the bank forty dollars and something something cents.

Holy Mary Mother of Fuck.

hmmm... i suspect... you need to call them, and sort things. your company probably didn't put you in for unemployment (they don't have to if you worked there less than 6 months, at least that's the law here...) but you can talk to the people at the unemployment office via phone, they can be very useful and helpful. they got me $$ when i didn't have an option to get some last year when a company i worked @ for 3 months went under.

also... if it's student loans, call 'em up and ask about defering payments. i've done it... painless process that usually involves faxing a form that says "hey i don't have a job leave me the fuck alone" basically.

In Jersey (or so I've been told), your unemployment doesn't run on your
last employer, but the one before it. Doesn't make any sense to me, though. However, I'm still calling them tomorrow morning.

Sadly enough, it's not anything resembling a student loan. It's a debt consolidation loan I did a year and a half ago. Right now, paying that is my main priority (mostly because my father cosigned and if I ruin his perfect credit, he'll have Tara-skin lampshades for his living room).
