Aug. 20th, 2002 01:37 amOne more doll done today, minus a face. Which is why you're not allowed to see a photo of her yet.
This one told me her name was Selene, as I was stitching up her dress (which, may I add, is the most favourite dress I've ever sewn before. I am a genius. hee!). I'm a little unsatisfied with her hair, as I decided to do short hair. It wound up coming out looking like ass. Which I fixed by wrapping it up in a piece of lace I had in my bits-and-bobs bag.
There is also a spot of white glue on her face, which makes me growling type angry. There also happens to be glue on my fingers, my skirt, the dining table, the carpet, and the cat.
Note to self: buy a different brand of craft glue, this one is much too runny.

Date: 2002-08-20 01:17 am (UTC)OH NO!!! I'm wearing a black shirt! heh heh heh
I used to make costumes for live action roleplay; 1 time I spent the whole night on this leather piece (used glue to stick 2 pieces together, then sewed them with a normal needle (I had no leather needles *boohoo*), and I went to bed exhausted. Normally I sleep on my front with 1 hand up next to the pillow. So I did this as normal.
DOH! Put my hand in a mass of glue and thread. Mucky pup. UNFORTUNATELY...
When I turned the light on to go to the bathroom to was my hands, I realised that it wasn't glue and thread- I had grabbed a spider in my sleep and squished it! It was bugjuice and legs! BLECH! I think I actually teleported to the bathroom I moved so fast!
Just thought I'd share that with you! ;)

OMG!
Thank you for ruining the way that I also sleep. Damn you!
A friend of mine told me about how he stepped on a roach once, in bare feet. And how part of its leg cut INTO his foot. He made a rather strong statement of that along the lines of "HOLY SHIT, TARA! I HAD PART OF A ROACH INSIDE OF ME!!!"

Date: 2002-08-20 07:53 am (UTC)I used to go by the name of Lord Mundungus Dingleberry Loveduffle Chugnut thee ConfuZed, Overlorde of thee Churche ov Randomme EthickZ and Grand High Masturbator, but I found Ricardito (the diminutive of my actual name) to be a little more catchy. ;)

And you'll see I did use the Lord Mundungus title. I used that rite as well, the idea came after doing it to people at parties cos I was a naughty pixie. naughty puckish naughty bad elf-boy. heh.
"Rub a little of that bug powder on my lips, won't you Bill?"

Date: 2002-08-20 12:58 pm (UTC)But actually, I don't wanna talk about some of the stuff, I don't agree with experimenting with animals for non-essential drugs (but I do for cancer drugs, etc). It's why I switched professions.

Eeek.
A friend of mine works for a University animal lab and has told me some
fairly icky stories involving the experiments they have set up there. Most
of that stuff, however, was all for medical procedures and the like.
He also offered to get me a job there, once. Which I turned down. I've got
a fairly strong stomach, but I'm waaaaaaay too sensitive for that kind of stuff happening on a day to day basis. :(
