There is one thing in life that I must learn.

Trust.

It was taken from me a long, long time ago and I've been working diligently ever since to regain it. The road is rocky, I must say. And having white noise constantly in my head doesn't exactly help matters any, either.

I think my biggest problems with social interactions are due to this. My faith in people has been knocked around considerably and I think it's safe to say that I have very enormous issues with opening up.

It won't happen today or tomorrow. Or even next year.
But, I'm working.

I think I'm going to go cuddle Aardie for a little while.

Trust is hard because I think most people have found themselves in multiple situations where trust was given, then abused... horribly.

Much like I just abused the concept of grammar in that sentence.

*hug* I hope you know i'm here if you ever need to talk.

And hug Aardie for me, even if I remain not entirely comfortable with his lack of hair.
