Trust.
It was taken from me a long, long time ago and I've been working diligently ever since to regain it. The road is rocky, I must say. And having white noise constantly in my head doesn't exactly help matters any, either.
I think my biggest problems with social interactions are due to this. My faith in people has been knocked around considerably and I think it's safe to say that I have very enormous issues with opening up.
It won't happen today or tomorrow. Or even next year.
But, I'm working.
I think I'm going to go cuddle Aardie for a little while.

Trusting is hard ....
But when you find some people you feel you can trust it feels really good.
I'm pretty sure I found some people like that and I'm more than willing.
When I think about it it's sort of overwhelming - but good.
