When I first read that I assumed you meant cricket as in the game we Brits invented and play... badly. It took a minute before I actually realised you meant those annoying little insect buggers, after which your post made a lot more sense :-)
yeah! hurricane! there is a cricket at my work who has lived there, somehow, for a week now. I don't know what the hell it's eating. It lives behind an old dusty vending machine in a dark corner. What do crickets eat? aphids? there aren't any aphids behind there, that's for sure.
