Being woken up by the stupid goddamn building smoke alarm going off is never a party, let me tell you. I hate that damn thing. It always goes off at the most random moments.

It's been happening off and on ever since I moved in here almost three years ago. For a while, it totally stopped and yay, I was joyful.

Replace the battery. Better yet, replace the smoke detector. Get a carbon monoxide detector while you are at it. Or a combo. Yeah, a combo alarm.....

It's the smoke alarm for the building. Something which I have no control over. We have individual smoke alarms in each apartment, but there is also a main one.

We also have individual carbon monoxide detectors. Despite the fact that this entire building runs on electricity. No gas.

Hmmm, call the fire department every time the alarm goes off. After the landlord gets tired of paying the fines he/she will replace the building system. Or just write his/her name on a sardine.
