Being woken up by the stupid goddamn building smoke alarm going off is never a party, let me tell you. I hate that damn thing. It always goes off at the most random moments.

Hmmm, call the fire department every time the alarm goes off. After the landlord gets tired of paying the fines he/she will replace the building system. Or just write his/her name on a sardine.
