Jun. 7th, 2004 11:55 amThe yard sale went rather well, if you don't count the fact that none of us really sold anything big. I still have all my cages, the television, and my clothes. The Engineer sold a lot of his movies and some books, but not his television or his cage. Total made: $142.
Not incredible, but it's money my mom did not have before yesterday. Which is quite nice, yes.
Later that night, I managed to almost kill my car. Twice. Details will not be forthcoming, as I am terribly embarassed over the entire spectacle. However, I will say that it happened because I am just not very bright and kind of oblivious.
Don't ask.

Date: 2004-06-07 09:39 am (UTC)As for the other fundraisers, I'm not quite sure. Stef has been back and forth with the lady from Clemington Park trying to get an answer on whether we're allowed to have a DJ or not, because if we can't then we're not doing it there.
A friend of Mom's has brought up doing a beef and beer, but I've been unable to get in touch with them (because I lost her phone number, I'm currently trying to track it down through other people).
I'm still up for doing a benefit show, too. I just don't know what would be involved or who to go to or any of the important things. I've been running so ragged lately, I don't even know which end is up anymore.
