A couple of months ago, I infected [livejournal.com profile] rowan_1958 with LOLcats, which is probably the best cure in the world for being pissed off at work.

She went on to infect one of her friends with it.

Because of this, last Friday, Division of Youth and Family Services fucked off for the afternoon to look at all the kitties.

hee.

I shut down DYFS by propagating a meme! Yar!

Children all over New Jersey were being abused today, Tara. Chained up in closets. Being touched by their creepy uncle who hugs too long. Eating paint chips. And it's because of YOU.

In further happiness, today is grey and rainy and quite chilly. This allows me to wear my black and grey striped emo-kid sweater, which makes me the happiest Tara ever.

For my next trick, I am going to go outside and smoke a cigarette.

My Chemical Romance to open for Bon Jovi at the new Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.

I ask you, what the blithering fuck?!

I found out about this the other night and immediately thought to myself, Self, you could totally go to this concert. You could just watch MCR's set, then jet the fuck out of the building before Bon Jovi, the worst band in the entire fucking world, even THINK about hitting the stage. And lo, things were good. Despite the fact that Joanna continually told me that I no longer had any dignity.

THEN, I found out that tickets are fuckmeexpensive.

And, ummm, no.

I say thee mother-fucking-nay, sirrah.

I would pay $100 to see MCR, if they were headlining. And if none of the money was earmarked for the lining of Jon Bon Jovi's pockets, that mousse-headed lame-ass dickbiter.

But, this? This is purely unacceptable.

I refuse to pay that amount of money for mezzanine seats, opening act nonetheless, in combination with the band I hate most in this world. Not a fucking chance. No way.
